Which Dressing Should You Choose?
Find out more
We have three tyre designs in our collection. This might make it a bit tricky to choose the one that best suits your car and your taste…
But it’s not really that complicated.
Let us explain:
COLOURED TYRE DRESSING
- It is a water-based dressing and black pigment. In other words, even if your tyres are dirty, dried out or worn, with stains that won’t come off, this tyre dressing will cover them up and “to paint” the black tyre.
- It gives a natural look, matt, but bright whilst moisturising the rubber
TYRE DRESSING
- Dressing made from water-based containing silicone. It is a water-based gel dressing, with greater brightness from our collection.
- It gives a nice finish brilliant, grease-free and long-lasting
- It has a great moisturising effect
CERAMIC TYRE DRESSING
- O synthetic dressing, with ceramic base from our collection. The silicon (SiO₂) it contains gives it a very long duration and which creates an effect of hydrophobic protection, with water- and dust-repellent properties.
- It creates an effect Satin, semi-gloss, as close as possible to a new tyre
- Long-lasting moisturising effect
A Few Tips
HOW TO USE IT?
Find out more
Use:
- Always start by giving the tyres a thorough clean using TIRE & RUBBER CLEANER and the GTools Tyre Cleaning Brush.
- Dry the Tyres
- Give your favourite dressing a good shake
- Select your preferred dressing applicator
- Apply a generous amount to the entire sidewall of the tyres
- Gently wipe away any excess with a microfibre cloth
- Repeat if necessary
EXTRA TIP:
- If the car is going to be parked for a while, apply a generous amount of tyre dressing to the tyres and let them dry naturally, without wiping them with a microfibre cloth
- Choose a dressing applicator for one product only and do not mix different dressings
- For maximum absorption, heat the tyre with a heat gun before applying the dressing and leave it to dry naturally. The result will be amazing.
